Family owned and managed since 1998 by the Hassell family who are now the fourth generation of Devon hoteliers. We have won several awards including runner-up in the Devon Hotel of the Year and pride ourselves on our personal and friendly service. We respect the beautiful environment we live in and have our own flock of chickens who lay eggs for your breakfast, our own water supply and now a wood fuelled boiler which heats and supplys hot water for the entire hotel.

Nestled amid 10 acres of private grounds, on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park, this family-run award-winning hotel provides the ideal base from which to explore the natural beauty of South Devon.

Offering all the warmth and charm of an English country house combined with friendly service and attention to detail of your hosts, the Hassell family, Ilsington Country House Hotel & Spa has something for everyone.

To ensure a truly relaxing stay, the hotel boasts idyllic views over the surrounding countryside towards Haytor and a new spa facility with an indoor pool, a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna, a steam room and a fitness suite.
